A little over a year ago, I received a very thrilling reply from Red Ladder Theatre Company saying they would be happy to welcome me into their team to do an Erasmus+ internship, as I had requested. They told me about the exciting projects they had planned ahead and roughly what my responsibilities would be. I didn't need convincing - it sounded like an amazing opportunity. And it was! So I ended up in Leeds, England, where they are based, in the middle of April.
Between Walls - the missing project in this website
I've finally (after two years!) added to the Other Works section the project I had featured in the Portuguese Student Section at Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, 2015. Better late than never!
The project had poems by Manuel António Pina as a starting point and I came up with a tiny house as a response. Learn all about it by clicking on the image bellow.
Charles Perrault, Mother Goose
Last November I was approached by Madalena Melo, a Portuguese teacher from Aveiro doing her masters degree at ESMAE, to design and build the set and puppets for the show she wanted to do with the students of her Theatre Club, based on Charles Perrault's tales.
I just updated the projects to the website! Check them out:
